感想/Review :

全碟有11首Great White原創歌，2首cover，1首由他人創作。監製Alan Niven參與了所有原創歌曲的創作，Michael Lardie參與了9首歌曲的創作，Jack Russell及Mark Kendall分別參與了8首歌曲的創作。

　　Title Track "Psycho City"一開始由Michael Lardie簡單的結他Riff伴奏加上Mark Kendall的Wah Wah結他音色與Audie Desbrow在停頓位置的互相配合打開序幕，全曲充斥著Mark Kendall的Wah Wah結他音效，Mark Kendall在結尾似乎刻意地模仿救護車聲音。Step On You一首Hard Rock作品，主要由簡單結他旋律及伴奏組成。Solo前唱畢最後一句"step on you"後，緊接著的是一輪清聲和弦伴奏，而Audie Desbrow則以一拍一踏的Bass Drum伴隨著，Audie Desbrow一輪低速Roll鼓後Solo正式開始。Solo先以簡單旋律開路，隨著鼓聲開始回復正常節奏，再來一段旋律簡單但效果不錯的 Solo。Old Rose Motel是一首Blues based Hard Rock，Mark Kendall的結他彈奏即時就能給你這種感覺，配合輕柔的鋼琴聲和Jack Russell在verse中輕聲演唱，效果更上一層樓，Mark Kendall在Chorus的彈奏同樣不能忽視。Solo由Mark Kendall一陣Wah Wah Pedal演奏開始，隨後加入一段短但迷人的簡單鋼琴Solo。經過最後一次Chorus後，Mark Kendall再以Wah Wah Pedal演奏出旋律簡單但十分迷人的Solo。Maybe Someday同樣是一首憂鬱而且比起Old Rose Motel更具爆炸力的一曲。一開始Mark Kendall以其憂鬱的結他聲展開序幕，而Michael Lardie所彈的伴奏正是此曲的靈魂旋律，Jack Russell同樣有出色的演出。第一段Solo一如以往Mark Kendall彈奏的是簡單而迷人的旋律，他的彈奏就像真人的哀怨聲一樣。最後一段長達兩分鐘的Solo，同樣是以簡單旋律為主，在後期發展為更具侵略性的Solo。最後以Audie Desbrow的Roll鼓配合Jack Russell輕聲的唱出最後一句歌詞告終。接著的Big Goodbye終於回歸到Hard Rock中，一貫簡單的結他伴奏及Jack Russell比較激昂的演出。歌曲中間有一段只有微弱聲量的結他清聲及Hi-hat打擊伴奏。隨後經過一次Chorus後，節奏突變起來，在回復正常之時，結他則改以簡單清聲伴奏。最後加入一段不錯的Solo，再唱一次Chorus後告終。Doctor Me同樣是一首Hard Rock作品，伴奏方面同樣簡單。樂曲來到solo前來一次突變，最後在Audie Desbrow的Roll鼓下展開Solo。這次Solo旋律有趣，期間Jack Russell興奮地"Woo..""Ah..."。變化接踵而來，之後一切寂靜，加入了非洲鼓伴奏，結他只作簡單而少量的清聲伴奏。最後Mark Kendall以一段旋律配合Jack Russell古怪的唱出"Oh......."告終。I Want You又是一首Hard Rock作品，Mark Kendall以加入Wah Wah效果的Riff作伴奏，歌曲節奏明快，有點像Bon Jovi的Damned。Never Trust A Pretty Face同樣是Hard Rock加簡單伴奏為主。Mark Kendall的Solo成了最主要的焦點，尾段的Solo可說是全碟中最精彩的solo，Audie Desbrow的鼓亦配合得十分之好。Love Is A Lie是一首長達八分鐘的精彩Ballad。全曲以鋼琴伴奏為主，Mark Kendall以微弱的結他聲伴奏，Jack Russell同樣以微弱聲量演唱，細心聆聽還有聲量極細的keyboard效果伴奏著。Solo在Audie Desbrow的一段鼓花後開始，鋼琴放聲演奏極迷人的旋律，隨後Mark Kendall加入Solo行列。在彈奏完一段激昂Solo後，Jack Russell亦開始提高聲浪演唱。由6:00開始Mark Kendall彈奏最後一次Solo，旋律不是一味慢而簡單，有簡單旋律之餘亦更有侵略性，最後完結在未完的Solo中。最後一曲Get On Home一開始先以鋼琴及木結他伴奏，一分鐘後開始加入電結他和Audie Desbrow的鼓組伴奏。在Mark Kendall Solo後，只以木結他及電結他伴奏，在Jack Russell唱畢最後幾句歌詞後完結。Somebody to Love是Jefferson Airplane的名曲cover，由女聲Grace Slick換成特色男聲Jack Russell，加上一些特別編排及更多的結他彈奏。Who's Driving Your Plane?是Rolling Stones的cover，Bluesy Rock完全適合Great White cover，有Mark Kendall出色的Bluesy彈奏及Jack Russell的出色演唱。Livin' on Rock 'n Roll是Great White的出色短篇Bluesy Rock歌曲，有一流的Bluesy結他伴奏及Slide彈奏，有一流的旋律及Chorus。Wasted Rock Ranger是Great White的Acoustic歌曲，由著名唱作人/巡演技術人員創作，重點是其歌詞。

　　全碟中充滿各種形形色色的簡單元素，但簡單得來非常震撼。而且歌曲編排絕不死板，變幻莫測。這是一張銷量很差的專輯，但其音樂質素與唱片銷量恰好成反比，非常難忘的一張90's Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Hair Metal, Pop Metal專輯。
